Magic for some, work for others
May. 24th, 2014 10:58 pmIn today’s Magic tournament, a pro tour qualifier in Portland, D. finished 19th (and J. 28th) out of 207 players! It’s a long day, though – they’ve been gone 15 hours so far.
Meanwhile, I’ve trudged my way through more of the proposal. Blah blah blah.
I also did complete two things that I’ve been working on for a while, though – I finished repainting the center interior section of the picket fence (the bit I see when I open the front door), and I finally finished the flowerbed nearest the street! That is, it’s now been weeded (the second time this spring), and new soil added, and shirley poppy seeds. It may be too late for them to sprout, but that can’t be helped at this point. I planted bachelor’s buttons in the flowerbed beneath the newly painted fence, too.
