Summer?!?

Today was hot! The weather forecasters had told us we’d have two very warm days, and they were right! Tomorrow it’s supposed to go back to normal, but today, May Day, was practically summer. After school got out, D. called me to come pick him up – he didn’t want to walk the five blocks home because he wasn’t prepared for 88̊.

After I finished my computer-related work, I worked outside for a bit, then I relaxed outside with a book. And after our pizza, J. and I went on a very, very pretty walk to see all the beautiful rhododendrons in the neighborhood, and the big meadow of purple camas flowers down in the park.
