Easter, a busy day
Apr. 20th, 2014 11:58 pmLet’s see. First the Bunny brought baskets for each of us. I got these gorgeous purple and blue dice, and a small teddy bear the color of orange on the outside of a Creamsicle, and a stuffed turtle. Yay, Easter Bunny! J. and D. each got lots of candy and a fancy Magic card.
Then D. went off to spend three hours with his dad, and I assembled the new lawn mower and learned more about it, and I charged up the smaller capacity battery and mowed the front door lawn, and later I charged up the larger one and mowed the street lawn. Then D. arrived home, and the Bunny had hidden the eggs in the front door yard and the back yard – but we had to take a break mid-search for those because it was time for J. to play in a Magic Online tournament qualifier. We resumed after he quickly won the first round, then after the second round he and D. got to search for eggs together in a race while I showered.
Then, between rounds again, we had Easter dinner (chicken, strawberries, sourdough toast), then J. finished the tournament while D. and I watched a Nova episode about animal senses.
Tomorrow: Easter, Part II.
