Friday in spring

Today was again a beautiful day, and again warm for April. J. and I had lunch on the balcony of my office, 4 stories up with a very pretty view of the river, the forested hills east of the university, the taller forested hills north of Springfield, and far to the east, two of the snow-capped Three Sisters.

I’m postponing the e-cigarette proposal for the day at least – I worked a wee bit on the old support study paper, and I collected some more materials for my notes on mindfulness, but then I got caught up in The Philosophy of Autism, which I only put down for dinner (fondue!) and my evening walk, and my bedtime reading to D. Now J’s gone home early so I’m going back to the book.

It was remarkably easy to park on campus this afternoon – what with the sunshine, the students seem to have cleared out entirely.
