Soggy Saturday

Today was absolutely pouring rain. Pouring and pouring. I did take D. downtown to play Magic, but I didn’t follow that up with a visit to the Asian Celebration at the fairgrounds, because of the rain. I also didn’t go see the Sheherazade ballet (more of a long-shot), because rain would make it so much more work. I did go hang out in J’s apartment a bit, rereading my favorite of the Mary Russell books, and then we came back here and watched Sherlock. I kept wondering why they called Lady Smallwood “Elizabeth” after Magnussen’s “memory palace” had labelled her as “Alicia.” An error? Ah, someone else asked about it too. Anyway, I’m watching him play Magic online now, and in a bit it’ll be time for our Saturday night anime.
