Whew – mentorship resolved, I think

The teachers have approved my suggestion that we have D. interview a different novelist every week for six weeks. This should work well – it should be much easier to find novelists to help, now that the commitment is just a one-time thing. Perhaps the really good one in California, two or three UO faculty members, maybe one or two locally that friends know, and maybe one or two from the local writers’ group?

I think the content of the interviews will differ, based on the topics they’re assigned to learn about each week. Also he gets to keep a journal of his experiences. It should be really interesting.
