Today was, frankly, kind of dull, though I hope to do fun things for the rest of it. J’s Grand Prix card pool was quite poor, and his matches reflected that. jmermin did much better.

The afternoon was sunny and wonderfully clear, though I spent all of it indoors. D. was at his friend’s birthday party for five hours, and I finished up that work task from last night and did housework. Also I got some hot and sour soup from the new and actually authentic Szechuan restaurant in Eugene. It was competent but not extraordinarily remarkable.
