Lillian: here we go again

Today’s vet visit confirmed that her lymph nodes are probably swelling again – at least this now gives us a direction to go. We can try a “rescue” chemo that should help her feel better and will be relatively inexpensive. We’ll see if it works. Meanwhile, the trip to the vet and back seems to have improved both her appetite and her activity level. Adrenaline?

We learned, by the way, that when cats lose weight, they lose muscle mass rather than their fat stores. So, although Lillian is now down to what would be the normal weight for her size, she’s still technically “fat.”
