Work, deer, play (aka summer in Eugene)
Jul. 12th, 2013 10:27 pmIt took 9 hours of Facebook advertising, and $72, but I now have a participant for my pilot study. Since I need 20 of them, I hope acquiring the others will be less costly!
Driving home from the office, I saw two very small fawns at the southern entrance of our neighborhood park. Their mama blocked them from my view when I stopped my car, but one peeked out at me anyway.
I showed D. my all-time favorite video game (Rampart for SNES) on YouTube today, and he agrees that it looks really fun. If only the Wii would include it!
Today’s randomly drawn activity was for D. to teach me a song on the guitar, so I’m now working on learning “The Banana Boat Song,” which is the first they learned in class. I have to master both the chords and the strumming pattern.
