As in Phantastes, the Ash is my nemesis

As it is April, we’re now up to my main pollen adversary, the Oregon ash. I guess I’m fine in the afternoons, but since I spent a bunch of time outside for my evening walk I had really better shower before bedtime, or I’ll spend my first few waking hours tomorrow in a blur again.

Today I missed writing, having worked on that big paper for weeks, so I got out my “democide control cases” draft and worked on it a bit. I also took D. to drafting at Magic and had to wait around for nearly an hour for J. to get off work before I could leave (didn’t want to abandon D. there). D. had fun and won his first round; the second draft never filled up, though, so J. didn’t get to play.
