Ups and Downs
Jan. 3rd, 2013 03:54 pmYay, my metaphors paper has finally been accepted! They want me to make a video to help publicize it, isn’t that funny? If I do, I’ll just think of it as practice at speaking in sound bites.
Boo, I woke with a nasty sore throat, which has progressed to a 101.7̊ fever with chills. I’ve now got up to 9 layers of clothing and blankets on, and my chest hurts. I was calling it “my first cold in over two years,” but maybe it’s more of a ’flu?
My big ambition for the afternoon is to clear a more comfortable space on the couch for watching the Fiesta Bowl. Let’s hope there are many (first) downs (and that I won’t have to get up once I’m settled there, ha).
