Plugging away

Tomorrow I shift my attention back to my dissertation, as G. has given me some feedback, and he’ll take a turn with the proposal. I did a great many errands today but didn’t manage to return a public library book, nor did I buy a new printer cartridge. There’s a beverage at Quizno’s that I quite like, a cranberry-grapefruit SoBe with an artificial sweetener other than aspartame.

I dreamed about being in a movie of a non-existent Mary Russell novel, in which Holmes and some other male character were competing to create a massive sculpture of a spider. Holmes’s was elegant, with steel and wires, and the other man’s was flashy, with wooden struts and colorful circus animals.
