I could tell even before I was fully awake today that the rain was gone, because the pollen was obviously back. But! I was cheery and did errands and such, and then in the evening we had D’s sixth grade “Cultural Fair,” during which he performed a duet with another boy (the Grandfather’s clock song), and during which I also had really interesting conversations with multiple people. From the kids’ exhibits I learned that one of his friends has a really cool middle name, I think it’s five syllables long? It means “pure heart” in Nahuatl. Okay, thanks, Google, it’s “Yollochipahuac.”
