Busy, despite myself
Mar. 4th, 2012 11:06 pmAs usual, my Sunday had two distinct halves. The first half, on my own: lots of work, a bit of gardening, a Perry Mason episode, and a stroll over to an open house in my neighborhood. I thought it was a bit overpriced, but the Brazilian cherry floors were gorgeous, and there were so many windows and balconies, with pretty forest all around. Oh, and a neat sunken tub surrounded by greenery.
The second half, which included D: chatting with a friend, walking in the neighborhood a bit with D, eating spaghetti, watching the first minutes of the latest Scooby-Doo movie (which unfortunately wasn’t very appealing), finishing our three-day game of Titan, listening to half an hour of clarinet practice (including some clapping duets, which ended in hysterical laughter more than once), and some reading of Asprin’s Myth Conceptions, which led to me telling the story of Henry VIII’s marriages and children, in which D. was actually interested! Asking questions! It must have been my droll delivery style.
