In which I am mildly decadent
Mar. 8th, 2011 10:22 pmThe boys went out to a pizza party for D’s basketball team, and I went out and bought myself a moderately fancy roast beef sandwich, which I ate while watching the more scenic parts of French Kiss, one of those movies I seem to be infinitely willing to watch. Yep, that counts for decadence for me. Afterwards I went on a walk in the near-dark, with rain pattering lightly on my umbrella, to the far end of Tugman Park and back, which gave me a nice view of the house lights on the eastern hills.
Now, back to my metaphors paper, which is very satisfying, partly because it’s nearly done and partly because the stuff I’m reporting is so interesting.
Update: The paper draft is essentially complete, as of 1:46 a.m. (But how long will it take me to get to sleep?)
