The proposal is winding down, for which I am grateful. I indulged myself this afternoon and watched the rest of Downton Abbey, which didn’t produce much closure at all; fortunately, they are hard at work on another season of it. Good old Julian Fellowes – I am always picturing him as Lord Kilwillie on Monarch of the Glen, rather than a gifted creative/intellectual-type.
D’s basketball practive was at Roosevelt Middle School. I hadn’t been in their gym before, so that was some nice variety, and I got to run errands nearby (as in, an evening visit to my office). Then we had time for a Eureka episode, finishing season 3.0; now on to 3.5!
My new book to read to D. is Howl’s Moving Castle. I’ve not read the book nor seen the movie, and it looks to be fun, though we’re only six pages in.
