Saturday before Christmas!
Dec. 18th, 2010 10:25 pmI woke feeling wiped out and groggy, and that lasted pretty much all day, even with a nap in the middle. Stuff:
With help from JA, my proposal design looks back on track.
We now have much better Christmas lights up, but I really don’t care to stand beneath the strobing icicles.
The Unitarian concert was nice, though the main piece (Charpentier’s “Messe de Minuit pour Nöels”) had a strong start and a slow but rather abrupt finish. I’d prefer more Praetorius or really old carols, like in previous years’ concerts, myself.
I’m sure I'd be more relaxed if I let myself read something “good,” but since I have so much to do I’m still just reading “fluff” (and mostly just for a few minutes at bedtime). Nevertheless, Burroughs’ The Chessmen of Mars is pretty entertaining.
