Word Perfect

I love Word Perfect. Every stupid thing Word does to mess you up mid-document, like changing fonts inexplicably when you add a new sentence to a paragraph, or refusing to let you start a new table on the same page as the old one, is not a problem. And you can always "reveal codes" and get rid of any troublesome formatting. It's simple, it's elegant, and normally it does whatever I want.

However, today I discovered that Word Perfect will not include spaces in a character count, whereas Word gives you both options. Meh.
