Bye bye, vacation
Sep. 19th, 2010 09:26 pmIf only I had time to schedule a few days of nothing at all, after all the hectic "doing" that happened during my vacation week! Instead, I've started the transition from my vacation do-list back to my regular do-list. Tomorrow I have to organize it properly and come up with a real plan, but today I'm just adding stuff to the list. So. Much. Stuff.
Anyway. Today we tied up a bunch of loose ends, and around 4:45 p.m.,
fractal9091's brother and brother's s.o. came and picked him up en route to their family vacation at Crater Lake and northern California. I liked them! Afterwards, though, I felt kind of like collapsing (for one thing, I'm fighting off the cold D. recently acquired). I managed to make dinner and indulgently bought myself some juice at Safeway, then spent nearly an hour curled up reading the newspapers for the last two days, then another half hour watching D. replaying Kingdom Hearts, and now I'm just kind of hanging out. Might rewatch North and South (Gaskell, not John Jakes) on my laptop.
Tomorrow: make a plan for the week, maybe even *gasp* start doing some of it, and eat some nice healthy greens and such, to try to ward off that cold.
