As summer draws to a close...

D. and I didn't do a lot of the things we planned for this summer. We didn't swim a lot; we didn't build a robot. We did, however, finally make an apple pie together. D's favorite parts were hand-blending the dough and using the rolling pin. He wasn't so enamored with peeling apples.

Tomorrow, the football season begins for our Ducks and our Beavers. And Wednesday, D. begins fifth grade.
