My advisor is enthusiastic about my prelim paper and thinks I could contribute something new and important to psychology, with an entire program of research. Next I get to develop a set of theoretical propositions, which I hope he'll help me figure out how to study empirically. I should learn about NSF funding, since NIH won't have much to offer me. He suggests supporting myself by writing books - I can't imagine myself becoming quite so popular, though.

It rained REALLY hard for a while today; some of the streets were a bit flooded. I'd like some sunshine again by Memorial Day, pretty please?
