A two-shower day
Apr. 25th, 2010 10:21 pm...because of all the pollen. Probably ash trees. I woke up stuffy but still felt like spending much of the day outside. Because I could. No staring at the monitor, typing pages of prelim stuff; no scrubbing the counters or sorting old messes.
I sat out in the sunshine and read numerous chapters of The Annotated Alice, encountering creatures I hadn't remembered at all, like the insomniac Pigeon who thinks she's a serpent. I also headed over to the hill just east of us to photograph wildflowers, finally finding some healthy-looking iris. After that, R. and I watched a great Castle from December, and the first half of the transitional Doctor Who episode.
