Three things

1. I've nearly finished writing the first draft of section 7 for my prelim paper. Then there's section 8, and going back to fill in lots of small pieces.
   
   
2. D. was home sick from school today. Amusingly, he discovered both of his local RuneScape friends playing during the school day as well. (They may well have all had the same nasty chest cold virus, but still.)
   
   
3. The lammergeier, a kind of vulture, collects large bones after other carrion birds have picked them clean, then flies high up with them and drops them onto rocks to smash. The lammergeier then eats huge chunks of bone, like about the size of its head. Its stomach acid is unusually corrosive. (I remember a lammergeier in a fantasy series - seems like it was the one co-written by Bradley, Norton, and May.)
