Having just watched the midseason finale, I found myself reading a lot of the blogs on the topic. This one is the best I found, considering the show in the light of ancient Greek tragedy.
I'm pretty tired. Last night I watched the end of a beautifully filmed version of The 39 Steps, starring that dishy Rupert Penry-Jones who recently played Wentworth in Persuasion. I did some weeding and mowing today, but wish now that I'd found some more pleasurable, sense-satisfying ways to spend time outside, as this was probably our last sunny day for a while. Of course, I don't mind rain, but it's no good for, say, relaxing in a lawn chair. Still making good progress on my prelim writeup, though I'm now mired in the longest section.
