In which we are characteristically eclectic

R. is doing a "sleepover" at the sleep clinic. I hope he can sleep okay with all those electrodes on him. He took our Castle novelization and the Sarah Palin memoir parody in case he needs something to read. D. had his basketball end-of-season ceremony - he was named the team's "Iron Man" for his toughness - and enjoyed four rounds of laser tag with his teammates.

I planted a bunch of swiss chard and discovered that my oregano plant that had seemingly died last summer is actually doing fine. Also I burned my hand on the iron (fine now, I guess, but I am not tough like D.). I had some dissertationy thoughts. I bought myself potstickers for dinner and watched most of House Bunny and a documentary about Dolley Madison. Finally, I got to listen to some of the StellarCon karaoke by phone.
