Family Reading Night
Mar. 2nd, 2010 09:00 pmD's school celebrates Dr. Seuss's birthday with an annual Family Reading Night. This year, D. and I looked at a "how to juggle" book, a basketball book, and a Dr. Seuss "puzzler" book. Then the three of us joined the crowd in the cafeteria, where former UO Duck (and now Tampa Bay Buccaneer) punter Josh Bidwell read a beautifully illustrated native (Coquille) folktale about the origins of Crater Lake: Coyote In Love. Bidwell then answered questions from the kids and introduced his own three small children.
