Saturday: entertaining!
Jan. 16th, 2010 11:36 pmThe fourth-grade basketball season got off to a fine start today, with our team beating a green-clad team from southeastern Springfield and/or Pleasant Hill by a score of about 38-22. I had a great conversation with one of the moms. R. and I chatted with our coach later, when we ate dinner at the neighborhood pub, where he works weekends. (D. had gone to a birthday sleepover.)
R. and I also watched three Dollhouse episodes, though we're still one behind, with the finale coming up on Friday. I am quite gratified that something I'd always said must be important turned out to be important.
I also worked on the excesses of Serbian nationalism for nearly three hours. I will be so glad to be done with this project; I thought it was gone in November.
