And winter break begins
Dec. 20th, 2009 11:58 pmR. and D. saw Avatar today up at the IMAX theatre in Tigard (a Christmas gift from DH), and they're wildly enthusiastic about both the movie and the experience of seeing it. I'm glad D. is old enough to have gotten to do that.
In the evening, D. went to the live Nativity scene at Grace Lutheran with the neighbors. After watching the performance twice through, he got to be one of the three kings in the third showing, and a Roman centurion in the fourth. (He'd been hoping to get to be a sheep, having been told that Moses (?) is supposed to whack them with a stick. I'm not quite clear on that one.)
My day was quiet: shopping and watching parts of funny movies I've seen before. I should have wrapped more presents, though.
