Forward motion
Jul. 30th, 2009 09:45 pmFinally my cognitive styles study is up online so that students can do the surveys. I don't know if I'll get many before summer session ends in a couple weeks, and then there's like a six-week gap before fall term starts, so I may be waiting quite a while to get enough data. Still, it's good to have it running.
Next I need to finish my prelims reading and put some focused energy onto my NCI study. I don't know if I can afford to start my prelims paper yet, though, since I ought to write a grant proposal next, so that I can, well, keep getting paid after May.
This evening, my sister and her husband came by with gifts for D. He demonstrated Guitar Hero for quite a while, and they like that kind of music, so much fun was had.
Oh! And the heat wave broke - today was just a perfectly typical 88° with sunshine and a breeze.
