Noche de Fiesta
May. 7th, 2009 11:32 pmIt's an annual event at D's school. We show up after the burrito dinner, buy a bunch of raffle tickets, and then watch the show. D's grade performed a story to the Macarena music. Most of the kids were villagers or city people, who did the regular dance, but D. was one of the soldiers and did a kind of a robotic saluting version that he thought was more fun.
Alas, our 25 raffle tickets were not enough to win us a basket of Backyard Fun toys, but I suppose we can always go out and buy the super soaker he so desires.
