Treasure hunt!
Apr. 19th, 2009 11:05 pmD. and I looked for wildflowers in the woods next to the neighborhood schools.
The shooting stars were in more places than ever before! Some were even out in the little meadow:
I adore blue flowers. This is cynoglossum ("hound's tongue"). There are only a dozen or so plants, but they're about a foot tall:
( Trilliums, Oregon grape, and a drift of fawn lilies )
