That's what Stalin called the "kulaks," or rich peasants. He wasn't fond of them. Eventually, he probably eliminated all of them.

Unfortunately, that's the only truly interesting thing he wrote, as far as I've seen so far, anyway, and I've been going through hundreds of pages of it.
