Since my hard drive is like *ahem* 97% full, I am using this nifty WinDirStat tool to figure out what I can get rid of. (Yes, I should add a second hard drive, but meanwhile...)
So I figure anything that's old and sitting in the c:\winnt\temp file with the extension .tmp looks like fair game. That should clear up 100 MB at a minimum. Norton AntiVirus stuffed 600+ MB into that directory over a three-day period in November 2007; I'm tempted to delete those also.
Also I am mighty suspicious of a file named c:\data\NtHtJ3k6RWc.exe. Doesn't that seem odd? Nearly 7 MB, too.
