Close, but not quite
Mar. 27th, 2008 10:47 pmI'd found this paper that appeared to be about a construct I want to use, which would save me the trouble of establishing it myself. (I'd rather be able to move along to what I want to use it for than get the credit for it.) I was so excited about this paper that I didn't even read it all day yesterday, to savor the anticipation! Today I did read it, and unfortunately it's not the same thing at all. Ah well.
Other bits. I made progress on the IRT paper and the yellowjackets revision. We had some small hail today; I saw part 2 of John Adams; we learned more about planets. I went on a wildflower walk, but so far there are only spring maids and the very first erythroniums. And the funny thing about today was that D. was completely fascinated by the weird Met opera of Hansel and Gretel, which I'd recorded last night when he seemed to be really into it.
