Innocent question
Feb. 9th, 2008 09:55 pmThis evening, R. went out to pick up some delicious food from Iraila (chicken kotopoulo again, yum!), and D. wanted to put on his Underdog DVD. I told him no, because as soon as R. got back, we were going to watch a movie from R's childhood, Zontar the Thing from Venus, which I'd recorded on the DVR. D. then turned his attention to the computer and started playing online with his webkinz.
So R. came home and he wasn't interested in Zontar. Nothing looked appealing on the on-demand list or the current schedule, so we settled for Never Been Kissed, a Drew Barrymore movie that we'd seen before and had mercifully forgotten how bad it was. After about an hour of this, D. glanced over at the TV and asked, "So why is this called Zantar the Something of Something, anyway?"
Poor Drew. (For the curious, here is the Bad Movie Report on Zontar the Thing from Venus.)
