Must. Have. Fooooood.

I really can't sleep when even the least bit hungry. Last night I didn't have a proper dinner, just some toast with cheese, brussels sprouts, and a half can of refried beans. I had my usual late-evening snack (open-faced peanut butter sandwich), but then I was too hungry to sleep at 1 a.m. and had to get up for more bread and cheese. Then I slept five hours, 'til an amusing dream woke me up, and I had to eat more then, but that wasn't enough, so I had more after D. left for school, and finally a full breakfast at 9:30 a.m. before I got back to sleep. Bah.

The dream. I was part of the crew of Kirk's Enterprise! I beamed down with an away team to a tropical island to visit a laboratory, which turned out to be an orchid conservatory run by liadanlj's ex. Majestic waves kept swamping us people, somehow leaving the orchids untouched.
