Pirates, Renaissance concert, coziness
Dec. 8th, 2007 09:06 pmR. and I watched the third Pirates movie today - of course entertaining, but not as much as the second, I thought. I'd rather it had been less convoluted and less bittersweet. It was also too violent to share with D.
Tonight was the annual Renaissance concert. Too bad I'm not healthier and more comfortable. The main composers were Dufay, Playford, Byrd, and Praetorius, and there were lyrics in English, Latin, French, German, and Provençal.
Now I'm curled up in bed, with a mug of hot cider and a tray of cold calamari fritti. If
fractal9091 doesn't wake up soon, I'll resume my rereading of Equal Rites, one of my favorite Discworld books.
