Monday stuff, and *ahem* Ironic Process Theory

I took a lot of fall color pictures today but don't have the energy to post them. R's parents aren't able to visit this weekend after all, which is quite unfortunate since it's because his dad has a health problem, but at least we now don't have to knock ourselves out cleaning between now and then.

In other words, if you try not to daydream, you will, and this thrilling finding somehow deserves the name "ironic process theory."

I saw some great pictures today of keyboard_monkey's dog Polar, who is a Cleveland Indians fan. I find that I, myself, have abruptly become a Reds fan, as they've just hired Dusty Baker as their manager. (Though I'd rather the Giants had hired him back.)
