Sunday play
Sep. 23rd, 2007 08:48 pmOther than having some useful and interesting thoughts in the morning and making spaghetti for dinner, my day was almost purely recreational.
fractal9091 and I played a new Enfo's variant (a different way of playing Warcraft III, where we just fight a procession of monsters with one hero each). We played it for three or four hours, which was fun, except that he got bored of having me be the efreet.
In the evening, R&D and I watched The Time Machine, the classic version. D. had his bath during the part with the Morlocks, since he's susceptible to nightmares, but he sure enjoyed the time travel scenes. Me too. I remember seeing it in a theatre once, probably the McDonald. D. was surprised that I hadn't read the book "by now."
Update 12/3/07. I just finished reading The Time Machine. More somber, even unsettling. I liked it.
