Still summer!
Sep. 8th, 2007 09:02 pmIt's expected to be 90 on Monday and warm all week, but I'm still treating this weekend like the last of the summer and trying to make the most of it. First I spent the morning puzzling over PARSCALE syntax, and should I have my analyses use the graded response model or the partial credit model? As yet unknown. Then we watched Oregon soundly beat Michigan (39-7), which was fun, but I won't say more as I do have a Michigan friend here! And then I went outside and finished reading Bennett's The Enchantment of Modern Life (thanks,
gradx) and then started In the Company of Cheerful Ladies, the sixth book about the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency.
On impulse, I took D. to the pool - it's the last day of the pool and although it was warm enough today, it was also quite windy, but still it was nice there. On another impulse, I joined him in the water for a bit too. Then we came home, and R. and I had diner food from Turtles and watched more football.
Another swimming movie - the famous double somersault (13 sec)
