Labor Day

Today was the third and final barbecue holiday of the year, and I made Jamaican jerk-flavored chicken with spicy rice (served with corn and chips and a very dark beer). This was a great success, and we also watched Flushed Away twice more, and I am resolved to finish the Deci and Ryan article today, if nothing else.

This year's Vicarious DragonCon wasn't anywhere near as fun as the last two, but vicarious travel is never reliable. Next year should be better. Here's my favorite costume:
