Queuing is not my thing
Jul. 15th, 2007 08:42 pmI wanted to be part of the Flicks 'n' Pics going-out-of-business sale, but when I arrived 45 min after it started there were at least a hundred people in the store, nearly all of them already in lines, so I edged my way back out and decided maybe to look again tomorrow. I'm interested only in a few specific titles, and I could always order them online if I really cared.
Hmm, other highlights: I made and ate a Hungarian cucumber salad (mostly following DA's wife's recipe). The Psychology of Harry Potter book is pretty entertaining. I also started reading an imagination article by Stawarska that was so exciting I had to set it down so as not to lose my own thoughts. After dinner, I went on a longish walk and saw people having fun with a very large kite up at Edgewood School. And I learned that there's a baby godzilla in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla.
