I am pleased to report that D. was entirely satisfied with the "nomological network" theoretical approach and didn't mock me for preferring it to the "history of recent scholarship" approach.

Sunday highlights

• Made at least a bit of progress with the item response theory paper and with cleaning D's room (currently working on the puzzles and games shelf).


• Tasty dinner: asparagus frittata, pasta, and my first peach of the summer.


• Watched Nanny McPhee (again).


• Played a bit of Diablo II with fractal9091 - Andariel (Act I) is consistently more generous than Diablo (Act IV).


• Went outside and enjoyed the roses - 'Alchemist' is at its peak, and 'Apple Blossom' is finally open...
