Rain, please.
Jan. 25th, 2007 12:53 pmIn a sense, springtime lasts five or six months in western Oregon, and this week two of my pollen nemeses have kicked things off: filberts and alder. Alder peaks in March, so I don't know what this portends. At least hay fever doesn't make my nose run, though I'm sufficiently uncomfortable and unfocused, really. No rain in the forecast for at least five days.
The new AARP commercial features the Buzzcocks. What's the world coming to? Does this mean in 20 years, they'll be advertising retirement benefits with the dulcet tones of Nirvana? "Come, as you are, as you were, as I want you to be..."
Three more main sections for the proposal: the measures, the lit review, and the busywork. Today I'm thinking about the measures.
Tonight I'm making broccoli-romano risotto. Mmm.
