The cat conspiracy

JF actually called me at home this afternoon. They've got a specific cat in mind to give my mom, and I pointed out that her birthday is in a week, which he agreed would be a good excuse. They're going to take it to her on Sunday and see what she says/does. Our annual birthday dinner is there at 5 p.m. Sunday. I'm curious what will happen!

The cat's a rescued animal, young adult, very thin, and he says "partly calico," so presumably it's female. I sure hope she'll take her.
