Trepidations

I've never minded standardized tests, but! It's been 28 years since I took the SAT, and I was looking at the GRE practice exercises today, and it's been at least 17 years since anyone asked me to write equations for lines with given slopes and intercepts, and I haven't even looked at the geometry yet. Sure I knew all this once, sure I could learn it again, but bleh, it's not what I had in mind to do with the rest of October. I am not enthused.
