May weather blessings

I definitely liked the weather today. In the afternoon, it was mostly sunny, and I got to work in my "third office," that is, the lawnchair, in the garden, surrounded by flowers and the picket fence. After dinner, though, the sky was fairly pregnant with rain, and I went on a terrific walk, experiencing maybe a dozen rain drops over the course of half an hour, while winds played in the tops of douglas firs and birds -- one flicker in particular -- got the rest of their calling in before the weather sent them looking for shelter.
