Less obvious signs of the season

Things I don't remember about fall until they happen:

• Happily rediscovering my sock drawer.


• Having to use the a/c to keep the car windows from fogging up.


• Walking to the Millrace Building at work becoming hazardous from all the rotting walnut pulp on the sidewalks.


• Really needing my Little Boo on the bed to make it a cozy cocoon (in the summer he overheats it).


• Mushrooms sprouting in the lawn.
