Hectic day: work at home; estate meeting with M. and my mom; work at work; to the UO to renew books; home; finally a shower. We then went to Chef's Kitchen with my mom and M., who leaves in the morning. What a fancy dinner -- R's had a fuchsia blossom on top, and my mom and M. both had big swirls of watermelon daikon radish on theirs. D. got to play with some legos while he waited at the table, and was given a little plastic lizard as we left, from the owner/waitress. We had...

L: "Artichoke Enchiladas" -- baked fresh with cheese and chantarelles, beans, rice, and avocado.

R: "Bourbon Pecan Cajun" -- broiled fresh opah (I see on-line that it's also called "moonfish") with cajun spice served with a pecan butter orange bourbon sauce. Cheesecake for dessert.

M: "Ahi Pêche Melba" -- seared fresh yellow fin tuna -- fresh peach raspberry ginger dijon sauce with wasabi. Chocolate mousse for dessert.

My mom: "Jaegerschnitzel mit Spätzele" -- breaded, sautéd fresh chicken breast cutlet, wild mushroom hunter's sauce. A huge serving.

D: "Pasta" -- a kid's meal of penne pasta with parmesan and exotic fruits served on the side.

I'd had the notion of walking home through the park to walk off some of the food, which would have been really nice because of all the stars out, but it was a bit chilly by that point, for someone wearing shorts, so I'm just stuffed.
