Overindulgence

Didn't get to meet Christi yet, but DH looks great, and it sounds like the weekend is going to be a lot of fun. After work, I took him (and D.) to my boss's house; DH is a winemaker professionally and H. is a serious amateur, and they seemed to hit it off, discussing all sorts of arcane matters, such as that they both like Yugoslavian oak barrels, being a nice balance between the American and French ones. Next was dinner, from Red Agave. I had "grilled, cumin-marinated Oregon wild salmon with a tomatillo, papaya, serrano salsa, with black beans, rice, and chard" and "grilled, skewered, spicy tiger prawns with a mixed tropical fruit salsa" -- absolutely delicious, but a bit much. Then we watched Fifth Element, a funny/silly movie that R. and I find quite entertaining, although he did fall asleep a third of the way through it.
